I am going to do it too.... I really AM!

I have the largest lawn in the hood... and I only have one tree on the whole 10,000sft property. The light is great and there is a sprinkler system... so, there is only one thing to do... FARM THE LAWN! I heard a report this morning that a $50 investment in soil and seeds will yield a $500 grocery savings over the course of the growing season. I would love to know what that is in terms of carbon footprint too! So... time to get busy, roll up the sleeves, get rid of the turf and love the worms. I am excited about this!

Note to self, must get flag that has been adapted for reuse into garden togs.

A couple of weeks ago we went to a family concert and it was a BLAST. I want it to snow... it is snowing in Charlotte North Carolina... they had a school day. Where have our big honking snow storms been this winter season. It was 70 degrees here today. Dang it!
