Times they are a changing... and if they can do it...

I am going to do it too.... I really AM!

I have the largest lawn in the hood... and I only have one tree on the whole 10,000sft property. The light is great and there is a sprinkler system... so, there is only one thing to do... FARM THE LAWN! I heard a report this morning that a $50 investment in soil and seeds will yield a $500 grocery savings over the course of the growing season. I would love to know what that is in terms of carbon footprint too! So... time to get busy, roll up the sleeves, get rid of the turf and love the worms. I am excited about this!

Note to self, must get flag that has been adapted for reuse into garden togs.

WILL and SEAN at the D'NOTE, checkin out the horn.
Anya Thomson just sent me her newest listing on her website in the family concert area RIDE THE MUSIC TRAIN.. Will has been published. Yeah, those are his pajamas...but who cares, he is comfortable! A couple of weeks ago we went to a family concert and it was a BLAST. How great is it that we ALL got to go and enjoy some music- drink beer-eat pizza and hang with other adults who were having an equally good time watching their wee ones rip it up. The Family Concert Series is the brain child of Anya Thomson- who is my rock star girlfriend and the mother of 2 wee ones. She is passionate about music and we have taken music lessons from her for years. She is AMAZING! She has created an amazing music concept that really ignites a love of music in her students....find her at http://www.ridethemusictrain.com/. Take a listen!

I want it to snow... it is snowing in Charlotte North Carolina... they had a school day. Where have our big honking snow storms been this winter season. It was 70 degrees here today. Dang it!
